Maybank Indonesia has announced the 6th running of the Maybank Bali Marathon 2017 (MBM17) to take place on Sunday, August 27, 2017.
This year’s running of the MBM 2017 will include route changes in an event that will xontinue to include a full-marathon, half-marathon, 10K run and children’s sprint event.
Online registration opens on 09 April with early bird registration exclusively for Maybank customers available for the first seven days April 9-15, 2017. Early bird registration for the general public on a limited quota of early bird participants will be available from April 16 until April 30, 2017. General registration opens on May 1, 2017, or as soon as the early quota of registrations is depleted.
Organizers of the race are exploring new routes that will retain Gianyar but potentially include race elements that cover parts of the regencies of Klungkung and Bangli.
The 2016 running of the Maybank Bali Marathon saw 7,500 participants with this year’s event expected to attract 8,000-9,000 runners.
The full marathon will cover 42.195 km, a half marathon (21.0975 km) and a 10 km run. The Maybank Bali Marathon was named one of the “52 Best Races in the Wolrd 2016″ by Runnersworld Magazine.
